I was the first video creative the studio hired in house and my job was to pitch, produce, capture, edit and deliver key content for the studio.

I delivered standout, high-end content to be viewed on the companies website, on social channels, showcased at festivals and internationally at awards ceremonies. The films focused on design principles, celebrated accomplishments and explored the bigger narratives within the field of architecture.

Whilst living in London, I had the privilege to pursue a career in video directing at the creative studio Powster. Powster is renowned for creating cutting edge and world first advertising campaigns, interactive music videos and experiences for the entertainment industry.

Powster allowed me to explore world first ideas and a varied application of video practices within the realm of digital marketing. During my five years at the studio, I honed my creative mindset, enabiling me to work resourcefully, imaginatively and without constraint to produce work of innovation. I developed a personal approach to idea generation, which I used to great effect when pitching treatments for video productions and digital campaigns. My creative journey with Powster equipped me with the technical know-how to make what I pitch come to life.

Our Clients included: Universal Music Group, EMI, Atlantic Records, Sony Music, Warner Music, Mercury, RCA, Island Records, Paramount Pictures, Paramount Home Entertainment, Warner Bros, Studio Canal, E One, Universal Studios and Disney.

SKILLS

CREATIVE DIRECTION

Having extensive industry experience of design, technology and creative idea generation, I am highly capable of producing content which spans short form commercial content and documentary films. I love being able to oversee a project from a directorial role, and my background gives me the skills of a video generalist, allowing me to see beyond the project and understand all areas of production workflows.

PRE/PRODUCTION

I can scale up teams and equipment to fulfil bespoke needs to each production, tailoring services based on budget and brief. I also love being behind the camera, utilising my 4K production equipment, which is lightweight, non-intrusive and precisely tailored to go wherever your production requires.

POST PRODUCTION

Workflows include editing, motion graphics, animation, sound development and colour grading. I have a deep understanding of the tools I use, having worked academically and professionally with the Adobe Suite for the past 15 years.
