FOR NEWTON FAULKNER’S FOURTH ALBUM ‘STUDIOZOO’ WE DEVELOPED AN ONLINE DESTINATION, WHICH CONTAINED 4 LIVESTREAM CAMERAS WITHIN NEWTON’S HOME STUDIO. THIS WAS A EXTENSIVE MULTI FACETED CAMPAIGN, NOT ONLY DID IT SHOW THE ENTIRE ALBUM MAKING PROCESS, IT ALLOWED FOR Q&A’S, LIVE PERFORMANCES, PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIONS AND ALSO ENABLED ENGAGEMENT WITH FANS VIA SOCIAL MEDIA TO INTERACT IN REAL-TIME WITH NEWTON HIMSELF. IMAGINE BEING A FAN AND BEING ASKED VIA COMMUNITY COLLABORATION THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA, ‘WHICH RIFF SOUNDS BETTER?’

WE DIDN’T STOP AT INTERACTING WITH NEWTON HIMSELF WE CONNECTED PHYSICAL ITEMS IN HIS STUDIO TO TWITTER’S API, ALLOWING FANS TO USE HASHTAGS TO UNLOCK ANIMAL NOISES, MOVE OBJECTS IN THE HOUSE AND EVENTUALLY REVEAL THE FINISHED ALBUM ITSELF BY POWERING A SAFARI JEEP THROUGH A MINIATURE SET POWERED BY TWEETS!

WE ALSO TOOK THE ZOO ON TOUR, MYSELF AND JAMES SWINDELLS TRAVELLING WITH THE FAULKNER CLAN TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL AND GLASTONBURY TO KEEP FANS CONNECTED. WE ALSO FILMED BEHIND THE SCENES AND CREATED CUSTOM EDITS POSTED AS STUDIOZOO HIGHLIGHTS.

THIS WAS ANOTHER EXCELLENT COLLABORATION WITH POWSTER DIRECTORS, JAMES SWINDELLS, STE THOMPSON AND MYSELF, WORKING CLOSELY WITH SONY RCA, OMG MANAGEMENT AND LIVESTREAM.
