Yuini-Dhari-Bulwal, captures the people of the Yuin Nation in 2020, 250 years since the arrival of the Endeavour and Captain Cook to the East Coast of Australia.

Yuin elders on the South Coast tell of that fateful day from the indigenous perspective - it was the beginning of the loss of culture, the loss of language , the loss of many tribes. But the Yuin people survived, and their culture stands strong.

This is their story, in their own words, in their own voices.

Divided into three parts : “Dreamtime” “Cook Encounters” and “After the Boats”, this short documentary interweaves interviews shot on country with local landscape imagery, artwork and music.
